Steven Dillon, Esq.
Associate Tax Attorney — Fortress Tax Relief
With nearly four decades of experience dealing with tax collection cases, including 17 years employed by the Collection Division of the Internal Revenue Service, Steven Dillon offers clients the rare advantage of insider knowledge on how the IRS truly operates. While working in the IRS Collection Division in Boston, he was a classroom instructor for revenue officer training and Offer in Compromise training. His work extended to the IRS Appeals Program, the Taxpayer Advocate’s Office, and asset verification for both businesses and individuals—giving him a comprehensive understanding of every stage of the tax resolution process. After his career with the IRS, Steven “switched sides,” and has been advocating on behalf of Americans in collections with the IRS.
